It is important that our business values are guided by clear standards of honesty and integrity. In 2026, we are initiating clear documentation of our values and ethics policies.

IC-Fluid Power is committed to environmental stewardship through our day-to-day operations, as well as continuous, long-term improvement efforts. The charts below highlight the strides we are making in each of the following categories: energy consumption, waste reduction, chemical & accidental pollution, and water management.

IC-Fluid Power is conscious of the amount of energy that is consumed through its daily work operations. As a result, IC-Fluid Power reduces greenhouse gases (GHGs) and energy use in its physical office and warehouse through some of the following considerations. This includes, but is not limited to: operating an electric forklift instead of a gas or diesel powered forklift; upgrading and installing heating and cooling systems to increase energy efficiencies; and consciously choosing Energy Star-certified electronics. To measure these efforts, we track our monthly utility bills, allowing us to notice any abnormalities and address potential causes quickly.

Because IC-Fluid Power works often with packaging materials and other recyclable items, it is a very high priority to combat our waste output. We do this by recycling all applicable hydraulic oil, metals, cardboard, paper, plastic, and glass, as well as reusing shipping materials and dunnage when appropriate. Additionally, our packaging team prioritizes recycling-friendly materials such as paper-based dunnage, whenever possible. It is incredibly important that new hires and current employees are well educated on these efforts so that everyone can contribute to a less wasteful office environment. Looking forward, we plan to shift towards electronic documentation to significantly reduce paper usage.

In the hydraulics field, we work with a fair share of chemicals. It is important to us that we stay knowledgable and ahead of any issues that may occur surrounding these chemicals so as not to contribute to accidental pollution. IC-Fluid Power ensures safe handling and disposal of hydraulic chemical materials to prevent environmental contamination by having protocol in place if a spill or leak were to occur, including instances where reporting is required. Our warehouse and workstations are properly stocked with drop pans, spill absorbents, and other preventative and remedial materials. To combat any improper storage or handling of chemicals, we conduct a monthly walkthrough.

IC-Fluid Power’s core operations do not involve intensive water use. Water use is limited to general sanitation and safety. Nevertheless, we have implemented monthly utility bill tracking to notice any abnormalities and address potential leaks or inefficiencies quickly.

IC-Fluid Power is committed to supporting labor and human rights in our workplace across harassment & abuse, equal employment opportunity employment, and health & safety. Below are excerpts from the respective policies that highlight our values and actionable items.

We are committed to maintaining a professional and respectful workplace. All forms of harassment and abuse, including verbal, physical, psychological, or sexual misconduct, are strictly prohibited. Violations will be promptly and thoroughly investigated, and corrective action taken as appropriate. We have created a reporting procedure that is accessible to everyone on the team. Additionally, we have created and provided a collection of resources to all employees to further educate and support the team on issues relating to harassment and abuse.

IC-Fluid Power is committed to equal employment across all facets of our business including recruitment, hiring, training, promotion, workplace culture, and leadership. We hold ourselves accountable to building an organization where every employee is valued and given an equal opportunity to succeed. This includes a library of local resources for protected characteristics that was introduced in 2026.

IC-Fluid Power is committed to providing a safe, healthy, and responsible workplace for all employees. We comply with all applicable regulations, work to eliminate recognized hazards, and provide essential training and awareness as needed. To be proactive about potential hazards in our workplace, we maintain a risk assessment log, as well as share safety resources and an annually presentation with employees. The overarching goal is to advance our expectations, education, and tracking of health and safety in our workplace.

IC-Fluid Power is committed to building success through the trust of our customers, supplies, manufacturers, and team. The reputation we’ve built relies on doing business the correct and ethical way. The following values and statements define how we operate every day.

Our mission is to solve unique hydraulic challenges by connecting North America to European technologies, spanning both niche and commodity components.

Our vision is to be a trusted link between international hydraulic components and the industries that rely on them while serving as a central source of expertise for fluid power professionals.

  • Integrity: It is important that we are transparent in the work that we do.
  • Safety: We prioritize the health and well-being of each person at our company.
  • Accountability: We take ownership of our actions and outcomes. We honor and take pride in our commitments.
  • Environmentally Forward: As a resource and energy intensive field, we recognize that the fluid power industry has a responsibility to reduce its impact on the planet.
  • Responsible Sourcing: As a global distribution, we have an ethical responsibility to source responsibly.
  • Customer Commitment: Our tagline, “Expect More from Your Hydraulics,” defines how we serve our customers. We focus on high-quality, reliable components, and business decisions that put our customers’ best interests first.

IC-Fluid Power is committed to sustainable procurement across its operations. As a hydraulic distributor with many partners and suppliers, it is important to us that we standardize and clearly state our expectations in procurement. The following paragraphs briefly outline our policies and tracking procedures.

IC Fluid Power is a distributor of hydraulic components. With our president actively involved in many of our supplier relationships, we can quickly address questions, review quality, and support ESG initiatives. We expect suppliers to provide working conditions that are safe, lawful, and respectful, and to prohibit any practices that may jeopardize those conditions. This includes the following principles:

  • Child Labor: Child labor is not tolerated in any form. Suppliers must comply with all minimum-age and young-worker laws.
  • Forced Labor: We strictly prohibit forced, bonded, trafficked, or otherwise involuntary labor.
  • Non-Discrimination: Employment decisions must be based on legitimate business factors, never on legally protected characteristics.
  • Abuse and Harassment: Verbal, physical, psychological, and sexual harassment and abuse, as well as degrading discipline, are unacceptable.
  • Wages and Benefits: Suppliers must comply with all wage, hour, overtime, and benefit laws.
  • Health and Safety: Suppliers must comply with health and safety laws, and must identify and address workplace hazards.

For an in-depth explanation of each point, please refer to our Supplier Code of Conduct in the downloads section below.

Each year, we ask our suppliers to complete an ESG questionnaire to assess environmental practices, social responsibility, and governance practices. These results allow us to see what’s working, to address issues early, and to find new ways we can improve.
