IC-Fluid Power, Inc. is a North American distributor and sourcing company offering high quality, European components from rotary actuators, pressure intensifiers, servo valves, flow dividers, and more. Built on generations of family experience in global hydraulics, IC-Fluid Power has supported customers since 1989 with reliable products, technical expertise, and a service-first approach.
We help engineers, purchasing departments and project managers source the world for hydraulic components without the need to invest significant time and resources developing an internal sourcing team, learning languages and cultures, and establishing the direct relationships necessary to be successful.
Leadership
Ben Hunger, President of IC-Fluid Power
Ben Hunger was born to his mother, Catherine, of Douce Hydro in France and his father, Armin, of Hunger Hydraulik in Germany. Ben often says that he has “hydraulic blood running through his veins.” Ben spent his early years around the fluid power industry, helping with everything from IT and engineering projects, visiting customers, and manning trade show booths.
When it was time to choose his path in university, it came naturally for Ben to get a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He studied at the University of Toledo and then began his career as a quality engineer in the glass industry. In 2008, he moved to Germany to work with the Hunger Hydraulik team before returning to the US to join his father at IC-Fluid Power. For the next 13 years, Ben worked as the Vice President.
He officially took over IC-Fluid Power as the President in 2024. Today, he stays closely connected to the fluid power community and continues to champion the technology that keeps industries moving. “Hydraulics are used everywhere,” he reflects. “We’re kind of the underdogs that go unnoticed, supporting everything behind the scenes.”

Based in Northwest Ohio, we are the North American sourcing, sales and marketing hub for 17 European hydraulic manufacturers. For 25 years, we have combined in-house technical expertise with long-standing International Hydraulic Group relationships to deliver off-the-shelf and custom hydraulic systems and components to customers throughout North America. While we are well-known for our high quality European sources, we also have connections around the globe for both high quality, high precision parts to lower cost alternatives.
