The tool intensifier is a device that intensifies the available hydraulic pressure from your truck to power your 10,000 psi hydraulic tools. It is designed for simple, one-handed operation, with a pressure gauge for consistent results, every time.
Learn more about the tool intensifier’s functions, benefits, and more.
3 Ways the Tool Intensifier Makes Your Job More Efficient
You can use the tool intensifier continuously, meaning no need to stop and let the device cool down between crimps.
You can use the tool intensifier with power directly from your truck’s pressure line, meaning no need for separate electric or gas engine HPUs. This can translate to a 30% increase in operation speeds.
The tool intensifier is quieter than leading brands, meaning a safer and more comfortable environment for your operator.
We’re confident that the tool intensifier will make a difference in your day-to-day. Reach out to a specialist to arrange a risk-free demo so you can see the difference for yourself!
The tool intensifier utilizes the existing circuit on utility trucks and boosts it to 10,000 psi, allowing you to use large crimping tools without the need for a separate HPU.
How do Tool Intensifiers work?
The pressure is intensified with a reciprocating piston that operates at full flow until the crimper bottoms out. Once the tool has bottomed out, the intensifier senses this and starts intensifying the lower pressure flow to 10,000 psi.
The tool intensifier plugs directly into your truck’s line. This eliminates the need for an alternate power source, such as batteries that need to be frequently recharged and can be limited to 50 crimps at a time.
Tool Intensifier Features:
The hydraulic intensifier was thoughtfully engineered for the transmission and construction industry.
Built for continuous, full-day applications: The biggest advantage of the tool intensifier is the way it creates pressure. Due to smart construction of the intensifier design, the device does not build up heat fast and can be used continuously.
Precise crimps through simple pressure monitoring: The integrated pressure gauge makes it easy to validate when the 10,000 psi threshold is met, ensuring a perfect crimp.
Tool Intensifier Features:
Boosts hydraulic tool circuit to 10,000 psi in utility trucks with an inlet pressure as low as 1,850 psi.
Can handle back pressures up to 700 psi.
Integrated features including a pressure intensifier, single acting control valve, pressure regulator, and a safety relief valve.
Built-in pressure gauge to measure crimp head pressure easily.
Power large crimping tools without the need for a separate electric or gas engine HPU.
Quieter operation than leading brands.
30% faster than battery-powered HPUs.
Fits almost any bucket with adjustable mounting brackets (included).

ScanWill is a supplier and pressure intensifier manufacturer for various applications including construction, mechanical, marine, and industrial.
The MP-2000 is an in-line pressure intensifier designed to be positioned in a low-pressure hydraulic system and will provide higher pressure exactly where needed (max. 2.000 bar). Having all the required high-pressure valves incorporated, the need for additional high-pressure components is minimized ensuring a cost-effective system. Controlling the high-pressure side is achieved by valves on the low-pressure side through the intensifier adding to safety. The intensifiers are offered with 4 different intensification ratios to meet most intensification requirements. The compact design ensures easy installation in new as well as existing hydraulic circuits. The MP-2000 is offered with a pilot operated check valve (POV) integrated, which allows the high-pressure side to be relieved through the intensifier.
Key Features of the MP-2000:
In-line pressure intensifier, reciprocating type for continuous flow
Medium-high pressure and medium flow rate applications
Optional top plates are available for high pressure connections
MP-2000 Configurations:
MP-2000-XP: The MP-2000-XP is made for installation in smaller power packs, where a higher end pressure is required, for example, a bolt tensioner. It is designed for smaller high-pressure power packs up to 2,600 bar/37,700 psi. This model also features an extra HP port for gauge mounting.
When the XP-intensifier is connected to P and T, it will automatically increase the supplied pressure proportionally to the required end pressure. For evacuation of the high-pressure side, a pilot operated check valve is integrated, and when activated, the flow from the high-pressure side is led through a separate side port directly to tank, where it will be cooled and filtered before being pumped back in the hydraulic circuit.
MP-2100: The MP-2100 supports a higher maximum inlet flow up to 4 gpm (15 lpm) compared to the MP-2000’s 3.4 gpm (13 lpm), making it ideal for applications requiring greater flow efficiency.
Technical Data:
Inlet Flow:
MP-2000 and MP-2000-XP: up to 3.4 gpm (13 lpm)
MP-2100: up to 4 gpm (15 lpm)
Supply pressure: up to 2,900 psi (200 bar)
End pressure rating:
MP-2000: up to 43,500 psi (3,000 bar)
MP-2000-XP: up to 37,700 psi (2,600 bar)
MP-2100: up to 46,400 psi (3,200 bar).

ScanWill is a supplier and pressure intensifier manufacturer for various applications including construction, mechanical, marine, and industrial.
The MP-C Series is a pressure intensifier specifically designed for Cetop/NG6 mounting.
Key Features of the MP-C:
Cetop/NG6 pressure intensifier, reciprocating type for continuous flow
MP-C Configurations:
Hydraulic stacking system applications (MP-CT): The MP-CT Series intensifier is made for installation in hydraulic stacking systems, where a higher end pressure is required for a specific job. Higher pressure is suppled through a separate female port G1/4″. The supply circuit will not be affected by the higher pressure and will not have influence on other functions in the chain. Using the MP-CT in a hydraulic system offers the advantage, that the system pressure can be kept as low as possible, as any higher pressure can be obtained where needed. This way pressure reduction in the whole system and energy wasting can be avoided.
No change of pressure in A & B ports, separate port for high pressure
Main difference between MP-C and MP-CT is the CT’s external port for the intensified pressure, typically utilized for cases where intensified pressure exceeds the rating of the Cetop DO3/NG6 mounting interface
Technical Data:
Inlet Flow: up to 4 gpm (15 lpm)
Supply pressure: up to 2,900 psi (200 bar). The supply circuit will not be affected by the higher pressure and will not have influence on other functions in the chain.
End pressure rating:
MP-C: 290 – 7,250 psi (20 – 500 bar)
MP-CT: 290 – 11,600 psi (20 – 800 bar)
The end pressure is dependent on the ratio and is always proportional with the supplied pressure.
Multiple intensification ratios
Integrated high pressure valves, including pilot operated check valve (POV):
MP-C: Allows the high-pressure side to be evacuated back to tank through the intensifier
MP-CT: Operated by a directional valve on the supply side and will activate the high-pressure side to tank
